WHY IS PERSONAL TRAINING THE MOST EFFECTIVE WORKOUT?
Personal trainers create custom training sessions targeting your goals, not group goals like classes. Classes are just a calorie burn, which will never efficiently help you reach your goals. Trainers know your capabilities and identify the best way to achieve your fitness objectives.
IS MY HOUSE FITNESS A GYM?
My House Fitness of Allen is your neighborhood training studio, not an open gym. There are no membership fees. Our studios are equipped like a big box gym, but without all the eyeballs. Our non-intimidating environment allows you to focus on your individual goals.
HOW LONG ARE THE TRAINING SESSIONS?
Our standard training sessions are 30 minutes, which is great for the busy Clients that want to exercise but do not have many hours in the day to commit to it. Within 30 minutes, you will get a full-body workout including resistance, strength, and cardio training.
HOW MANY DAYS PER WEEK DO I NEED TO TRAIN?
Our standard packages are 2 or 3 times per week, but it completely depends on your goals and the amount of time you have to meet those goals. As part of your initial evaluation, your trainer will recommend the number of days you should train in the studio.
CAN I HAVE A CUSTOMIZED TRAINING PROGRAM?
All clients receive a customized training program which is dependent on their goals and any injuries or medical limitations. As mentioned above, our standard sessions are 30 minutes in length and the standard packages are 2 or 3 times per week. However, we can design a custom training package (session length and number of days per week) if necessary.
WILL I ALWAYS TRAIN UNDER THE SAME TRAINER?
We do assign our Clients to one trainer. However, if there are scheduling conflicts, we always have another trainer that is available to step in and provide the same amazing training session. It’s all about YOU, so we want to make sure you get all of your sessions in each week!!
WILL YOU HELP ME WITH MY NUTRITION?
We will! Nutrition is an important part of any fitness program. We have a registered dietitian specific meal planning mobile app. You get a free nutrition consultation with your evaluation!
CAN I LOSE A LOT OF WEIGHT WITH PERSONAL TRAINING?
Our average clients are looking to lose around 30 – 40 lbs. We have a number of transformations of clients that have lost over 100 lbs with us!
IS IT EXPENSIVE?
Our goal is to have cost effective Personal Training options for everyone. We are affordably priced and surprisingly around the same price as the other workout facilities.
HOW DO I PAY?
Our standard training agreement is monthly, with a 30 day written termination notice. No long term contract is required! However, if you ARE ready to commit to a longer time frame (3 or 6 months), we offer discounts of 10% and 15%, respectively. The monthly training package is paid at the beginning of your service month. So if you started at My House Fitness of Allen on June 10, for example, your monthly payment will be due on the 10th of each month. We accept all credit cards, debit cards, checks and cash.
WHAT IF I CAN’T COMPLETE ALL OF MY SESSIONS IN A GIVEN MONTH?
Any unused sessions are lost at the end of your service month. So, we highly recommend that you work with your trainer to ensure any missed sessions are made up within your service month. For extended out of town trips (2 weeks or more), we can freeze your training package for a nominal fee.
